In 2019, these four questions were asked by a group of friends over lunch as they were talking about finding a way to create a business that would change the way people see an industry, from the view of the consumer as well as the employee.

To put it simply, we want to be known as the most modern, eco-friendly, and innovative choice in pest control.
Our “It’s Your Neighborhood” approach allows our pest technicians to service customers in one zip code only, thereby creating the ability for the technician to wow our customers with exceptional customer service, which leads to organic business growth through great work and referrals from happy clients.
We also have a career path for any employee interested and capable that will eventually lead to them being their own boss and owning the neighborhood reputation and results that they have successfully built under the Pest Friends Brand with the Pest Friends Technology.

The Pest Friends Founders Team consists of four members: Scott Nolen, Wyatt Chambers, Daryl Ross, and John Smalley. We have 35+ years of experience in pest control, 75+ years in management and leadership, and have created and developed over 20 companies between the four members. All four believe that by combining our strengths in Pest Control, Innovation, Leadership, Workforce Development, Marketing, and Technology, Pest Friends will fundamentally change and improve the way consumers receive proactive, high-tech, eco-friendly pest control going forward. Meet our newest business partner Scott Martin. Scott is a dedicated husband, father, and now first-time business owner who is passionate about helping and serving others. With 11 years of experience in the pest control industry, Scott has worked his way up from a branch manager to a regional director with two of the largest pest control companies in the United States. Now, as the local owner & operator of Pest Friends of Orange County, Scott is committed to providing exceptional pest control services to North Orange County while also giving back to the community by donating a portion of the company’s proceeds to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Scott is a proud local who is deeply invested in his community. He believes that his work is not just about pest control, but also about making a positive impact on the lives of his customers and neighbors.
